The Learning Bridge is now taking Applications for the school year of 2026-27.
Please visit our Tour and Apply Page for information on how to visit. We are licensed for ages 2-6 years of age.
We have three groups; the Teddy Bears (2-3 year olds), the Dolphins (3-4 year olds), and the Eagles (4-5 year olds, also our pre-K/TK group). We operate all year-round.
We have Summer School openings for new students during June to mid-August.
Enrollment for the new school year 2026 - 2027 is welcome for families in the community, parents who work at UCSF, friends of alumni or currently enrolled families. We would love to hear from you!
Our Philosophy
The Learning Bridge Preschool (LIC #384004834) is a Child Development Center dedicated to helping children develop self esteem through physical, language and cognitive skills with an emphasis on social and communicational skills.
Each child is encouraged to participate in daily experiences which are designed to build their character, discover their interests and establish their independence.
Learning about the world in which they live is achieved through a multicultural curriculum. Weekly themes are designed to provide a deeper understanding of subjects. Experiences include: circle time, art projects, and music time.
Parents are encouraged to participate in their child’s preschool experience.
The children who attend Learning Bridge Preschool enjoy a curriculum where free play and active social interactions are a part of the curriculum, as well as an academic style that helps lead a child to skills needed for success in Kindergarten.
Our School
The Learning Bridge Preschool is fully licensed by the Department of Social Services for 26 children ages 2-6.
There have been no complaints lodged against The Learning Bridge during its 46 years of operation!
The Preschool is open year-round. We are closed on: major federal holidays, one week in Spring, and two weeks observed in December.
Hours: 7:45AM - 5:30PM, Monday through Friday
